Osteopathy is an established, safe and effective approach to treating a wide array of disfunction and pain in the body. Osteopaths believe that the source of pain and disfunction in the body is as a result of abnormalities in the structure and function.
At The Body Clinic MK we aim to help to address these abnormalities and help the body return to its optimum health. We work with the body ensuring the muscles, joints and ligaments all function smoothly together.
Treatment involves manipulation and mobilisation of tissues and joints improving blood flow and function to those tissues and stimulating repair and recovery.
Nicola is a fully registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council who Graduated from The British College Of Osteopathic Medicine with a Masters in Osteopathic Medicine and a Diploma in Naturopathy.
Nicola further went on to train in Kinesio Taping and spent three years working with Orthopaedic surgeons gaining experience in Orthopaedic surgery and the effects on the body this has along with post surgery affects.
Nicola has gone on to further study Pre and Post natal Osteopathy and Paediatric Osteopathy developing her interest and love of treating pregnant mothers, babies and children.
Nicola has also studied with the world renowned Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute and incorporates pilates into her treatments to help with rehabilitation of injuries, strengthening of muscle groups and improvement of flexibility.
